the in-between

We’ve already crossed a threshold. Even if the calendar hasn’t quite caught up...
— You, me and ChatGPT

Hiya Traveller,

As we move through the final stretch of the year, I wanted to send a quiet note — part thank you, part love letter, part invitation. We’ve already crossed a threshold. Even if the calendar hasn’t quite caught up, something deeper has shifted, and many of us are feeling it in our bodies, relationships, and inner landscape.

Time is inevitable. What we do with it — how we meet ourselves inside it — is always a choice. As the year turns and life fills with gatherings, noise, and momentum, it can be surprisingly hard to feel where you are in it all. My invitation is to use this season as practice: notice how you actually feel in real time, even briefly, and let that awareness help you keep true. You might also make a small promise only you know — one that honours the version of you who is already standing a year ahead, grateful for how you listened.

Below, I’ve shared a set of elemental tarot readings for the final week of 2025 as a gentle check-in during this crossing. You’re welcome to explore the element that matches your sun, moon, or rising sign — or to listen on behalf of someone you care about. Sometimes tuning in for another can soften resistance and open a quiet doorway into empathy and the heart.

a little story…

Over Christmas, I followed the water. Poppy and I spent our days wandering creek beds and slipping between trees, both of us remembering what off-leash feels like — in body, mind, and spirit. At one quiet bend in the creek, I trusted myself enough to step fully into the water, bare and unguarded, and let it hold me. Not as a statement, but as a homecoming.
I’m excited to see myself sharing a few images from that time as photography finds its way back into my creative scope — a way of seeing, pausing, and sharing perspective when words aren’t always the easiest place for me to land.

Those days also coincided with meaningful movement in my family relationships after a long period of distance. It isn’t perfect, but it’s real — and that honesty, held without force, has felt like a quiet kind of grace as the year comes to a close.

A few moments from the in-between — creek days, quiet pauses, and small details that held meaning as the year softened.

As we look ahead to 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — I’m opening a few ways to work together for those who feel ready. Alongside the elemental readings, I’m offering virtual and in-person tarot readings, a free introductory coherence call for anyone curious about HeartMath, and a small series of 1:1 workshops for those who want to meet the year with intention, steadiness, and momentum. Follow what feels right, or simply take note for when the timing aligns.

Thank you for being here — for reading, listening, feeling, and showing up in your own way. And if you feel curious to zoom out and sense the wider astrological currents at play, I often return to Molly McCord’s YouTube podcasts for intuitive, grounded reflections on what’s unfolding.

I often think in images, patterns, and energy before words. In a year where every platform offered a “year in review,” I found ChatGPT especially fascinating — not as a writer, but as a way of noticing the questions we ask. As a tarot reader (and a psychology student who loves statistics), that curiosity matters. I don’t use it to replace my voice — I use it to help my voice (and these emails) arrive.
